Thiago: Blame Laporta, Txiki for Ronaldinho's Barcelona woes

Atletico Madrid midfielder Thiago Motta says Barcelona president Joan Laporta and sports chief Txiki Begiristain are responsible for Ronaldinho's woes this season.

Thiago, who left Barca for Atletico, said: "If I was in Ronaldinho's shoes, I would be in a place where people are always trying to hurt you and never care.

"If Ronaldinho has to leave, the real culprits are Laporta and Txiki. They're the ones who should be ashamed and should say 'I am leaving because I cannot do anything more'.

"Ronaldinho has made some mistakes and is partly to blame. But the club is dying from inside. They're trying to find a scapegoat, just like last season. But we all know who the real culprits are."
